This week the Green Bay Packers lost Josiah Deguara to a knee injury but the Packers may have found a pretty solid replacement.
Dominique Dafney was recently signed by the Indianapolis Colts after a stellar career at Indiana State. Dominique is a super freaky athlete who straight dominated his pro day. He was signed as a tight end/H-Back with the Colts and I would expect that is the same role he lands with on the Packers.
Dominique Dafney was a game-changer for the Sycamores at both wide receiver and leading the wildcat offense.
He ranked second on the team with 439 yards rushing after carrying the ball during the final four games of the season out of the wildcat package.
In total, Dafney accounted for seven touchdowns – six rushing and one receiving. He totaled 15 catches for 196 yards and went for 635 all-purposes yards on the season
Dafney recorded the fourth-best individual rushing performance in program history after a 244-yard outburst that included five total touchdowns at Missouri State to end the season.
He earned Second Team All-MVFC at fullback and was named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team.
