Dak Prescott wanted a long term deal in Dallas. He showed up to practice and played and ended up getting stiffed by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and company.
Well today, Dak Prescott suffered a gruesome injury and will likely miss the rest of the season.
The Cowboys extended an exclusive franchise tag to Prescott, meaning they held his rights exclusively and no other franchise can even discuss a contract with the quarterback.
Prescott was coming off his rookie NFL contract, which has proven to be one of the most team-friendly contracts in the NFL in recent seasons.
Now, Dak will end up more than likely on the injured reserve after going ham this season. Dak was on pace for 6,760 yards and 36 touchdown passes.
I am sorry, but the Dallas Cowboys better pay him. If not they suck, because this kid has so much emotion for his team and teammates.
