Lovie Smith’s son Mikal Smith arrested in Arizona on sex trafficking charges
Mikal Smith was a football player at the University of Arizona. He is also the son of Illinois head coach Lovie Smith and he was also an assistant coach in the NFL for his father from 2009 to 2015.
Well, Mikal is in trouble right now in Arizona. Police reports indicate that the younger Smith was charged on numerous counts including sex trafficking and prostitution.
It sounds like Mikal was pimping females out in the Arizona area, but the charges are harsh. Mikal Smith is facing charges of sex trafficking, pandering, receiving earnings from a prostitute, money laundering, conspiracy and illegal control of enterprise.
Smith’s bond right now is currently 100,000 dollars and he will be in court on September 10.
