FCS Football: 209 players from the FCS made the 53 man roster or the practice squad

FCS Football Carson Wentz
Carson Wentz a former North Dakota State Bison is the best FCS Football player currently in the NFL.

I have to give it up to my guys at FCS Stats. They do a great job of breaking down rosters and helping FCS players. Well today, FCS Football can pump their chests out.

According to a report from Craig Haley of FCS Stats, 209 players from the FCS made the 53 man roster or a practice squad.

The way it breaks down is 144 players made an active roster, while 65 made a practice squad.

There are 2,208 players in the National Football League if we count all the practice squad players this year. There are 209 from the FCS. That means that 10.56 percent of the NFL is made up from FCS Football Players. That is a big win!
