Fantasy Studs: Week 1 Fantasy Football players who dominated
We thought after week 1 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 1, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy studs of week 1.
Quarterback
Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills – Allen accounted for three of Buffalo’s touchdowns. He was 33-46 throwing the ball for 312 yards and two passing touchdowns. He also led the Bills and the game in rushing with 14 carries for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns. His biggest negative was two fumbles lost, but besides that he tore up the Jets defense.
Running Back
Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders – The big guy tore it up and helped lead the Raiders past the Carolina Panthers. Jacobs finished the game with 25 carries for 93 yards rushing and added three rushing touchdowns. He also had four receptions out the backfield for 46 additional yards.
Wide Receiver
Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers – Who needs to draft a wide receiver? That was the talk of the 2020 NFL Draft. Adams single handedly tore up the Vikings secondary. He finished the game with 14 receptions for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had an amazing game.
Tight End
Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens tight end made the prettiest looking one handed touchdown catch yesterday and it should have been a top 10 play on ESPN. He finished the game with 5 receptions for 88 yards and scored twice. He was a beast yesterday as the Ravens spanked the Browns.
Defense
New Orleans Saints – The Saints had a hell of a day against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The finished the game with 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions and one of those was taken to the house by Janoris Jenkins. Overall, they shut down the Buccaneers all game. Tom Brady looked bad.
