Breaking: T.Y. McGill leaves the Lions workout early to fly to Philly, expected to sign
We are learning that defensive tackle T.Y. McGill the former North Carolina State defensive lineman left the Detroit Lions workout and flew to Philadelphia. McGill was working out with several other defensive tackles in Detroit to include Elijah Qualls, Walter Palmore, Kevin Wilkins and Josiah Coatney.
We are hearing that he is expected to sign with the Eagles if he passes all the COVID-19 tests.
T.Y. McGill played college football at North Carolina State, and signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2015. McGill has played on several teams over the years. He was also in Buffalo for a workout this past week.
