Washington Football Team’s head coach Ron Rivera diagnosed with squamous cell cancer

We are asking today that you say a prayer for Washington Football Team’s head coach Ron Rivera. The Washington football team has been in the news quite a bit lately and because of Riverboat Ron himself, things are starting to be on the up and up around the facility.

Well the Devil is taking another swing at the team. The team released a statement saying that Ron Rivera the teams head coach has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma.

The team says the cancer is in a lymph node and was detected from a self-care check. The team also says that the cancer is in an early stage and is considered “very treatable and curable, providing a good prognosis for Coach Rivera for a full recovery.””For now, Coach has asked that the team keep things business as usual and remain focused, but a ‘Plan B’ is in place if it is determined that he should take some time off,” the team statement says.

One thing about Ron Rivera, the guy is tough as nails. If anyone can kick cancer’s ass it is Riverboat Ron!!
