Former first round pick Chip Banks shot and seriously injured in Atlanta
Chip Banks the former first round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 1982 NFL Draft was shot in Atlanta.
According to TMZ Sports, Banks was one of three people shot by a group of five or six men with masks. One of the victims has died.
“Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident,” Atlanta police said. “The investigation continues.”
Chip played for the Chargers, Browns and Colts. Remember he was the defensive rookie of the year and a first time All-Pro his rookie year.
