Tell us about your university/college. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
North Central College is a private liberal arts college in Naperville, Illinois. I am a Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship major. I do not play any other sports for North central.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
My teammates would say my best quality on the field is being accountable and being a playmaker. Off the field they would say I’m welcoming and loyal.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
At North Central, my role on the football team is leading by example. And I’ve worked hard to be the number 1 receiver for them. I fit well into any offensive scheme due to my versatility in my route running and physicality in the blocking game. Slot receiver would best fit me.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
Tyler Sigler Wheaton College.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
Alex Rose impresses me with the adversity he has been through and how he’s still able to be so positive and so accountable.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
A time in my life where I had to overcome a struggle was dealing with a fractured pelvis freshman year of high school and pretty much learning how to use my left leg again.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
If I didn’t play football, I think being a professional golfer would be cool.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
I am most proud of being a twin and being part of a loving family. I’m also proud of being a first generation college athlete and receiving a degree.

Last year was an amazing year. I received First Team All-American recognition after leading the entire NCAA in receptions (133) and yards (2016). I also set a new record for single season touchdowns with 31. Aside from my individual achievements, I’d have to say that nothing is better than winning the National Championship. That has to be my biggest achievement

Describe one of the most memorable plays or moments of your collegiate career.
Of my most memorable plays, two come to mind. One was a 4th and 3, and we were down 10 against Mount Union. I caught a slant and took it 60 yards to score to put us down by 3. We eventually took the lead and won.

The next memorable play would be a touchdown catch against Illinois Wesleyan right before half time. I went up and over the defender catching the ball with one hand. That play ended up being number 6 on SportsCenter later that day.

Of course my #1 moment would have to be when I was on the sideline when the clock hit 0:00 in the National Championship, and we stormed the field after the win.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
My favorite professional team is the Los Angeles Rams. I model my game after Cooper Kupp and Julian Edelman. Favorite athlete is Deion Sanders.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
I don’t have a favorite artist. I like all genres of music. But before games I will listen to rap and hip hop.

What is your favorite comfort food?
My comfort food is eggs.

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?
My favorite movie is Any Given Sunday, and favorite actor is Adam Sandler

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
Hobbies are video games, working out, hanging with my buddies, spending time with my family and my dog. Working on my game.

Who or what motivates you the most?
My mom motivates me the most.
