Suspect arrested for shooting former Buffalo State football player Malachi Capers
A suspect has been arrested in the shooting of 20 year old Malachi Capers. It was all because Capers bumped into the Jeffrey Thurston at the Deli and Grill in New York. Capers was struck in the face by Thurston and he followed after him tackling him to the ground. At that moment Thurston stood up and shot Capers in the stomach.
Acoocrding to the NYPD, Thurston was arrested on Wednesday. Thank you all who shared the story.
Great investigative work done by the 105 Precinct Detective Squad, Queens South Homicide, Sergeant Castle, Detective Covatti & the rest of Team Castle from Regional Fugitive Task Force for apprehending Jeffrey Thurston in less than 48 hours. pic.twitter.com/NUUYMxj3kJ— Chief Rodney Harrison (@NYPDDetectives) July 29, 2020
Now we just need to pray for Capers, and hope he comes through after getting shot. Please keep him in your prayers.
