Toledo DT Jahneil Douglas shot and killed in Toledo
MAC football lost a solid football player on Tuesday Night. Jahneil Douglas, a junior defensive tackle on the University of Toledo football team, was killed in a shooting outside of a Pizza Restaurant around 11:30pm last night in Ohio.
According to WTOL, there was a fight outside of the restaurant between two men. Douglas was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
Douglas was a First-team AP All-Ohio honoree in 2016 after playing both offensive and defensive line, tallying 55 tackles in high school for Start High School.
He would land at Toledo and playing sparingly throughout his career. He played in 12 total games and registered just two tackles in his career. He would have been entering his junior season for the Rockets.
Please pray for the 6030, 250 pounders family and friends. Gone too soon.
