Virginia Tech DB Caleb Farley has opted to sit out the season and enter 2021 NFL Draft
Virginia Tech defensive back Caleb Farley is considered a top cornerback in the 2021 NFL Draft and today he opted out of the 2020 NCAA season.
Caleb Farley was not always a shutdown cornerback, a matter of fact he was a quarterback in high school that came to Virginia Tech as a wide receiver. He was a beast in North Carolina, where he finished with 8 touchdowns in one game which is still a record today.
He has suffered some injuries in his past, with a torn ACL in 2017, but he has rebounded very well. He is a very tough corner, that sticks to his opponents. He is great in press, and at 6020, he has the length to be disruptive to wide receivers.
