Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

I go to The Military College of South Carolina. It is a very different environment you would get from a regular university. It’s a special place though. I participated in FCA on campus.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

My teammates say my best quality is just always being around the ball.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

My role on the team is to lead my fellow teammates each and everyday/game. On the defensive side of the ball, I feel I am very athletic and versatile for the linebacker position which allows me to fly around.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

The best player I have played against my college career would be Josh Jacobs from Alabama. He was just a complete back and one of the best I’ve played.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

One of my teammates who impresses me the most would be Marquise Blount. His work ethic and love for the game is just like mine which makes us close.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

One point in my career where I had to overcome adversity was my sophomore year when I got accused of plagiarism on a paper which my scholarship and career at The Citadel was in jeopardy. I dealt with the incident throughout the majority of the football season. I knew it was just a common mistake made on my end, but with me not having any prior discipline issues and the fact that I am a model cadet I was granted leniency. What I learned from the situation was I didn’t allow the situation to overwhelm me with negative emotions or thoughts. I took the time to process what I had been through and pushed to move forward. This allowed me to be successful the following year in the classroom and on the field.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

I would play basketball if I didn’t play football.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

One thing I am most proud of is almost finishing college so that I would be the first person in my immediate family to do so. My biggest achievement so far would be being named Player of the Year last season in our conference.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

It was 4th & 1 on our 1 yard line with the game on the line against Charleston Southern. They attempted to run the ball and me and the running back met just behind the line of scrimmage for the game sealing stop.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite athlete is Lebron James but I don’t have a favorite team. I try to model my game after some of the games top linebackers I watched play in college like Darius Leonard, Devin White, Devin Bush, and other guys.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

I got 2. Lil Baby & Gunna. Before a game I got to make sure I listen to both of them.

What is your favorite comfort food?

My favorite comfort food would be fried chicken

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

My favorite movie of all time is the Friday series movies. My favorite actor I’ll say is Chris Tucker.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

In my spare time I like to watch old football/basketball games on youtube. Other times I just like playing my video game.
