Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
I love going to an HBCU. I have not had the chance to participate in any organizations outside of football.
What do your teammates say is your best quality?
I keep a positive attitude, and always lead by example.
What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
I played cornerback all throughout high school, I hadn’t taken any snaps at safety prior to college, and I played nickel back my sophomore year. I would say that nickel back suits my style of play the most, but I see myself as a versatile player who can play any defensive back position.
Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
I would have to say Antonio Gandy-Golden.
Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
Christian Angulo. He is very open about his relationship with God, and it inspires me to do the same.
Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
When I was 9 years old my father went to prison. He was the person who introduced me to football, so after that instance I had to find my own love for the game, and it took a while but I managed to do it, and here I am today.
If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
I would have to say basketball.
What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
I am most proud of my relationship with God, it has fluctuated in the past but I feel closer now than I ever have before. This would have to be my biggest achievement, because it allows me to move through all of life with mental clarity.
Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
My sophomore year when I got a pick 6!
Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
I model my game after Derwin James. We are about the same size and I love how versatile of a player he is.
Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
My favorite artist is Young Thug. I have a game day playlist that always has me ready to get to it!
What is your favorite comfort food?
I would have to say apples. Fruit in general always makes me feel better.
Do you have a favorite movie or actor?
My favorite actor is Will Smith. I am not much of a movie person.
What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
In my spare time, I like to cook! It is something I have recently gotten really good at.
Who or what motivates you the most?
My family motivates me, and my family extends beyond blood. I just want to see everybody happy.
