What is the best restaurant in your hometown city? 

• We have a lot of great places to eat but if I had to choose one then I’d say Luigi’s.

When breaking down your film what will stick out? 

• That I take pride in the little things, if I’m not the one making the big play you’ll see me fighting to get off blocks, setting the edge, running to the ball on the other side of the field.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do with the money? 

• Find an investment opportunity to put half of the winnings in.

What has been your biggest failure? 

• Becoming academically ineligible at my previous school, but I was given another opportunity to chase my dream at Baker University.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

• My knowledge for the game 

Who is the hardest working teammate on your team?

• Ivan Hollins, he shows up not only in the weight room and on the field but in the classroom as well.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

• Everyone just calls me briggs which is my last name. I did have a nickname my first year playing football when I was 8, it was Seabiscuit.

What is your degree in, if you do not make it as a football player, what is your dream job? 

• My degree is in business administration, but my dream job is to be a defensive coordinator in the NFL.

What is your coolest life moment? 

• Becoming a dad and seeing my son for the first time. Waking up every morning and seeing a miniature version of yourself is pretty cool.

What song would you sing at Karaoke night? 

• After a couple drinks I’ll sing any song they tell me to.

If you could pick any actor to play you in a movie, who are you picking? 

• Definitely Will Smith but he might be a little too old for the role.

Who is your favorite football team? 

• It use to be which ever team Joey Porter played for but ever since he retired I don’t have one.

What is your biggest fear? 

• Not living up to the expectations that I’ve set for myself 

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL? 

• Tony Jefferson, he went from being undrafted to one of the most versatile defenders in the league.

Take us through game day, How do you prepare? 

• Since most of our games are in the morning, I take a shower then go to team breakfast then after breakfast head to the field. At the stadium I throw on my headphones and get into the zone by watching Eric Thomas or Inky Johnson videos, after the videos I visualize myself making plays and going through my keys.

Do you have any hobbies? 

• Currently I’ve been spending a lot of time dealing with the stock market but other than that I don’t have any hobbies.

If you had to compare yourself to someone in the NFL, who would that be? 

• Lamarcus Joyner/ Mike Hilton they’re smaller guys that don’t care about their size and go in each game being consistent and doing their job.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

My parents, they both came from rough childhoods and never let it be an excuse to not work hard because of it. 

What motivates you to work hard?

• My son, my parents were able to provide me with everything I needed plus more and I just want to do the same with him.
