Tell us about your university/college. Are you involved in any other activities or organizations other than football? What was your major/minor?

Villanova is a great place. The campus is beautiful and they have made huge improvements to the campus since my freshman year. I volunteer at the Andy Talley Bone Marrow drive and the Special Olympics. I got my degree in Economics.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

My teammates would say my best quality is my effort. I outwork and out hustle my opponent on every play whether I’m blocking or running a route.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

As a 5th year on the team I see myself as a leader. I try to help the younger players as much as I can whether it’s on or off the field. I am more of a receiving tight end so I like to be spread out wide to use my size and speed to get open.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

James Connor. He ran hard and had the ability to turn any run into a big play.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Our QB Dan Smith. Last year was his first year at Nova, and no one knew what to expect from him but he surpassed everyone’s expectations. Last season, Dan led the FCS in points scored and total touchdowns. He was also 4th in the NCAA in total touchdowns.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

If I didn’t play football, I would definitely play basketball.I scored over 1,000 points in highschool.  Growing up basketball was always my favorite sport and my sophomore year of highschool I didn’t play football to just focus on basketball.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

Graduating from Villanova was a great honor. I chose Villanova because of its great academic culture. Graduating with an Economics degree is something I am very proud of.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

My redshirt freshman year my first catch was a 20 yard touchdown vs Maine. Which will always be a memorable career moment.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant. I try to model my training and mindset after his “mamba mentality”. He showed that the only way to get results is to outwork everyone. This goes for everything in life.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

Drake is my favorite artist. I listen to his music pregame.

What is your favorite comfort food?

My favorite comfort food is barbecue. I love BBQ brisket.

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

My favorite actor is Will Ferrell. He is one of the funniest people in the world.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?

In my spare time, I like to work out, hangout with friends and golf.

Who or what motivates you the most?

My family motivates and pushes me. I have 3 older brothers and growing up they always pushed and motivated me to be the best player I could be.
