Tell us about your hometown.

I’m from Fitzgerald Ga, also known as the 229. What I love about it is that it’s a small town that loves football. We’re also the known for our wild chickens running around in town

Tell us about your university/college. What was your major/minor? How is campus life?

I’m currently attending Lenoir-Rhyne University. Our mascot is the Bears. I’m currently studying Information Technology for my major, and I’m also minoring in Business. Campus life is smooth. There’s not a lot of people on campus that make it easy to navigate, but on game days we are packed with over 10,000 people that come to our football games. That’s a lot coming from a D2 University.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

My motor that won’t stop/mentality to win

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

For my size, I’m very fast in between the line of scrimmage. They like to pull me out as a lead blocker to attack our opponents doesn’t matter if it’s trapping, kicking out, counters, or just outside sweeps. I’m also good at pass protection and inside blocking but my favorite role is being a lead blocker. I think I can adapt to any scheme set I just about played in everything.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

JT Hassell who currently plays for the Cleveland Browns. He plays very fast and is quick on his feet. He also recorded 18 tackles against us.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

If you don’t already know, I played with Kyle Dugger who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. I had the privilege of seeing him every day in practice and ball out in every game we played. Other than him, I would mention our running back, Jace Jordan. He’s a tough runner who follows his blocks and has the speed to get down the field.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

My freshman year I was at Hutchinson CC and I wasn’t familiar with the backfield terminology because I played pulling guard in high school, so there were 15 fullbacks and I overcame it by studying 3 times as much and getting better at practice and I won the starting fullback position my freshman year of college.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

I participated in track & field as a thrower in high school and here at Lenoir-Rhyne. I would continue with that career. My high school bests were 48′ 6″ in the shot put and 141′ 2″ in the discus. It helps show my explosiveness.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

I’m most proud of trying out for football my 10th-grade year and making it. I wasn’t going to play any type of sport ever throughout high school. My biggest achievements would be earning a full scholarship that goes toward my degree, and having all of the accolades I have stacked up over time (2-time All-American, 2-time All-SAC First Team, 2-time Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner, 2-time All-Super Region Team).

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

We beat Wingate with a flea-flicker in my sophomore year.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite athlete/team was Kobe Bryant R.I.P. & Lakers. I model my game from Ray Lewis in a mindset type way.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

Favorite artist Lil Wayne. What gets me pumped before a game is seeing me and my brothers strap up together preparing for war before any football game.

What is your favorite comfort food?

Barbecue wings

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

Favorite movie I would say “The Wood”

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?

I often pray, lift weights, and work

Who or what motivates you the most?

I would say my family because they been there for me all my life through the good & bad.
