Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

I’ve been a NAACP member, community leader and a volunteer partner with elementary school.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

I’d say my teammates think my best quality is my great spirit and the ability to be a great leader. My team leans on me to be mature and help out the younger guys that don’t know any better.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

The role I see myself on my team is whatever the team needs me. I am not the player that has to be the topic of conversation. I do what has to be done so the team can win. I am a receiver at heart but whatever is needed of me I’ll do it. From catching the ball and running or just blocking, I’ll do it all.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

The best player I have played against in college would have to be two guys. One is Dariun Dunn and the other is Colby Burton. I haven’t had any other competition besides those two, not being cocky or anything, but those are the best players I have played against and practiced against. They both push me to be a better Cyron everyday.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

The teammate that impresses me the most is Deon Comier. Talk about a guy who works hard and plays hard. Very underrated player but when he gets his chance be make sure you watch closely.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

A time when I was in high school, my father had just gone to prison and mind you I was a junior in school. So I didn’t have any support system because my mom did not know anything about football. My dad missed all of my high school career and my freshman year of college. I had to be strong and still play up to my true potential and wait for him to get back to watch me, and from the day he got out, he hasn’t missed a game yet.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

If I didn’t play football I’d be playing basketball. I had a great high school career as a basketball player, I didn’t get as many offers as I’d liked but God had a plan for me.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

One thing I’m most proud of is that I’ve become a role model and great inspiration in the city of Lake Charles. My biggest achievement hasn’t happened yet. My goal to achieve is to bring a conference championship to my school, and not only that but to make the playoffs and compete for a national championship.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

One of the most memorable plays of my collegiate career is in the 2019-2020 season when we were playing against HBU. It was our second drive of the game and on our own 30 yard line, the coach had called a 5 yard out route for me, I caught it, shook two defenders and took it to the house for a 70 yard touchdown.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

My favorite athlete would have to be DeSean Jackson. His skill set is similar to mine, he is an elusive player, and he’s very likable. He’d also be the player that I model my game after, his swagger, how he runs his route and even how he shows off just a little bit.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

My favorite music artist is Lil Wayne. He’s an all time great in the city of New Orleans. His music also speaks to me. I also listen to his music before my games because just the words he spits are so inspirational.

What is your favorite comfort food?

My comfort food has to be pizza and wings. I can eat pizza and wings 24/7, who can ever get tired of pizza.

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

My favorite actor will have to be Kevin Hart. He is just an amazing comedian, leader, and actor.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

In my spare time I like to play video games, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Madden 20, and NBA 2k. A secret talent that I have is juggling. I learned how to juggle for hand eye coordination.

Who or what motivates you the most?

My daughter Zoey Claire Sutton motivates me. She is my biggest blessing and everything I do is because of her. I wouldn’t be what I am with her, she is the reason I get up every morning to be great and go the extra mile.
