Tell us about your university/college. Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

Strictly football for me since JUCO to Southeastern Louisiana University

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

Most definitely my sense of humor and ability to talk and be friendly with everyone on the team.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

I see myself as a lead by example type leader. Linebacker, it allows me to be vocal while getting the play calls to my teammates.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

By far Donte Olson, linebacker for Montana. I wasn’t on the field at the same time as him when we played them in Missoula Montana for the second round of FCS playoffs in 2019 because we are both defensive players. Watching him make plays from sideline to the sideline was amazing. Also, it helped me understand what it takes to be a Buck Buchanan award winner which is given to the best defensive player in FCS which is a personal goal for myself.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

Ferlando Jordan, Cornerback. Ferlando is a high energy person with such a unique personality. He always gets everyone going especially on the defense side of the ball. Ferlando is also a great player who makes big-time plays every game including practice.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

I was able to fight through a shoulder separation injury my sophomore season at Hartnell Community College (JUCO). I fought through the pain the whole season and helped lead my team to an 8-3 record and a Bowl game. I was also named the 2018 Golden Coast Conference Defensive MVP that same season.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Definitely soccer because I grew up playing it my whole life.

My biggest achievement would be being in the position I am today.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

The most memorable play of my college career was my first sack at the D1 level vs Jacksonville State coming off the bench. It’s a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

A player I look up to and model my playing style after is Tyrann Mathieu. Although we both play different positions, Tyrann is the player I wish to be one day but at linebacker.
