Bryce Nunnelly has been dominating his conference for years.

By: Brandon Gubitosa

The two-time first team All-SoCon receiver shines on and off the field for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. When he isn’t causing nightmares to opposing defenders, Bryce Nunnelly is carrying a 3.81 GPA in Mechanical Engineering, finishing 2019 as an Academic All-American.

Nunnelly burst on the scene in 2018 for the Mocs catching 79 passes for 1,237 yards and 7 touchdowns. He backed up his stellar sophomore season with an impressive junior campaign, taking in 57 passes for 794 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Bryce made NFL Draft Diamonds Small School Rankings

The 6-foot-2 speedy receiver out of Cleveland, Tennessee needs two more receptions to pass former NFL Star Terrell Owens in receptions for seventh all -time among Moc players. His nine career 100-yard receiving games is tied for second all-time at UTC, as he enters his final season one shy of setting the school record. One game that really stands out on tape for Nunnelly is the show he put on against Citadel. Nunnelly snagged 10 passes for 268 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Keep an eye out for Nunnelly this season as teams will have their eyes on him. Former Chattanooga quarterback Nick Tiano signed with the Houston Texans this offseason. Tiano and Nunnelly combined for 12 touchdowns over the years. Could a reunion be possible when Nunnelly hears his name called in 2021?

Scouting Notes:

I have been watching Bryce Nunnelly for several years and I feel he is one of the best wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft, and get this he was only a two star recruit when leaving high school. Not only is he producing on the field, he is smart too. He carries a 3.81 GPA as a Mechanical Engineer Major. He is a good route runner and has burst when he catches the ball. Remember his name in the 2021 NFL Draft, with another huge year he could be someone that NFL teams fall in love with. – Damond Talbot, Owner, NFL Draft Diamonds
