Bengals are adding former XFL running back Jacques Patrick
Former Tampa Bay Vipers running back Jacques Patrick was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals Wednesday afternoon, according to many tweets from friends and family close to Patrick. Patrick, who went undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, will get his first taste of the NFL with this signing.
Patrick played at Florida State from 2015 to 2018, sharing the backfield with guys like Cam Akers and Dalvin Cook. In his four seasons, he totaled 1,790 rushing yards for 17 touchdowns.
In five games with the Vipers, Patrick recorded 254 rushing yards and two touchdowns, he is known for his aggressive running style. Patrick was a bulldozer on the football field.
Patrick will join former Seminole Auden Tate in Cincinnati, who sent him some love on Twitter last night!
