XFL Defensive Stat Leaders heading into week 5
With Defense winning Championships, we know how important it is to have a great defense. This week the Tampa Bay Vipers defense lead by defensive back Tarvarus McFadden had a great game shutting out Cardale Jones and the DC Defenders.
After just four weeks Steven Johnson of the Seattle Dragons is still in the lead for tackles. The hard hitting linebacker has been all over the field. Dexter McCoil the former Tulsa safety is a player who is making a name for himself in the XFL, remember to keep an eye on him after the season.
When it comes to sacks, I am so proud of former James Madison pass rusher Andrew Ankrah. He was signed to the Washington Redskins after a great season in the AAF and he is continuing his success in the XFL.
When it comes to secondaries, you have to love what the Houston Roughnecks are doing, they have two interception leaders on their team and have been getting turnovers left and right. Rahim Moore the former draft pick of the Broncos is also tearing it up in the XFL, he has been a bright spot on the Defenders defense this year.
