Should Tom Brady just retire?
It is only day 2 of Free Agency, but I have a valid question, should Tom Brady retire?
Right now, the New England Patriots have clearly stated they would take Tom back, but he is testing free agency for the first time ever and it is not going so well. The Titans pulled out of the race quickly when they signed Ryan Tannehill to a huge contract extension.
The 49ers quickly said Jimmy G is our quarterback, which killed Tom to the Niners.
Yesterday, the Raiders signed Marcus Mariota as their quarterback and let’s face it there are not many more options at this point.
I mean Vegas has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the odds favorites to win the Brady Sweepstakes.
I look around the league and I see the Colts, Bears, Chargers, the Buccaneers and the Patriots.
If I was a quarterback I would not want to play for any of those teams after the legacy I left. Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback ever, why should he tarnish his name just to play for a team that is lousy?
If Tom Brady goes to any of those teams mentioned he is going to struggle. At this point, for me if I am Tom Brady it is Patriots or bust. I would rather go to the Pats or retire. What do you think happens?
