Meet 2020 XFL Prospect: Jordan McCray, OL, Tampa Bay Vipers

Jordan McCray the mauling offensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Vipers recently sat down with NFL Draft Diamonds writer Justin Berendzen for this amazing interview. 1. What would a team get in a player like you?

A hard working talented player who loves the game

2. What is your favorite drink?

Strawberry milk

3. How was your experience in the XFL year 1?

My experience was a great one. We would’ve like to have one more games but i was around a great group of players and coaches who all enjoyed what they were doing. We were gone get it right the second half of the season and make a deep playoff run

4. What is your overall goal?

My goal is to be a great player in the NFL. My journey so far has led me to be great in every league I’ve been apart of thus far and i want to place my stamp at the highest level as well. The XFL has definitely helped me to get better to do so

5. Who is your favorite musical artist?

J. Cole

6. Most interesting teammate from any team you’ve played for and why?

Most interesting teammate would probably be Justin McCray. I’ve never met someone who wanted to be like me so bad lol

7. What is your dream car?

Don’t really have a dream car. My brother bought me my Chrysler 300 and i love it so I’ll say that

8. If you could live anywhere in the world where and why?

Miami, always great weather and it’s the best city in the world.

9. What is your favorite dessert?

Cheesecake

10. What was your favorite thing that the XFL did? 

The XFL did a lot of great things for me, but the best i would say is paying us even though the league suspended play.

11. Favorite tv show?

It’s a toss up between Martin, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Dragon Ball Z/Super

12. If you were an animal which animal would you be and why?

I’d say a Gorilla or Ape. I’d still want to be strong, athletic, relatively smart and able to use my hands if I were and animal lol
