XFL WR/TE rankings after week 2

Former Virginia Tech wide out Cam Phillips has been super impressive in the XFL after two weeks.

1. DC Defenders

They have a triple threat at wide receiver. Rashad Ross, Eli Rogers and DeAndre Thompkins all are very good WRs with that big play potential and the Defenders are deep at receiver. And the Defenders are also decent at TE with Khari Lee, Derrick Hayward who had a TD last week and Donnie Ernsberger.

2. Houston Roughnecks

Cam Phillips has been the Roughnecks main target at WR. Then they have Sammie Coates who has not had alot of chances but I think he draws attention away from Phillips. Also have Nick Holley who has been performing well as a WR mainly. The Roughnecks have no TEs.

3. St.Louis Battlehawks

De’Mornay Pierson El finally showed what he can do week 2. Then the Battlehawks also have L’Damian Washington who did well week 2 and Alonzo Russell who has been decent. And at TE the Battlehawks have Marcus Lucas who has done well blocking wise but idk if the tight ends figure into the passing game.

4. LA Wildcats

I put the Wildcats here mainly because of Nelson Spruce who has been a star in the league so far. Then the Wildcats also have Jordan Smallwood and Kermit Whitfield as a decent receivers and at TE they have Brandon Barnes who has been decent.

5. Seattle Dragons

Keenan Reynolds showed he can get open week 2 now the QB needs to get him the ball but Reynolds has the ability. The Dragons also have Austin Proehl who can be a decent wr if he doesn’t have a case of the drops. And at TE they are solid with Connor Hamlett, Evan Rodriguez , Ben Johnson and Colin Jeter.

6. Dallas Renegades

This is mainly based off of potential Jeff Badet, Jazz Ferguson, Freddie Martino need to get open more. They just haven’t met expectations yet. But and maybe even the main reason I put them here TE Donald Parham this guy is a monster at the tight end spot and the Renegades need to keep finding him because he has been their most reliable target.

7. Tampa Bay Vipers

Daniel Williams couldn’t escape the coverage last week after an awesome week 1. Reece Horn was okay but he needs to show up more and do more things. They will have newly acquired WR SJ Green so we will see if he helps. And at TE they have Nick Truesdell who is out week 3 but when he is healthy again they need to find him and DeAndre Goolsby who was back from injury and who will have a role with Truesdell being out.

8. NY Guardians

The WRs need to get open for the Guardians they could not do that against the Defenders much at all. And TE Jake Powell was not effective either.
