XFL odds, picks, predictions for Week 2
New York Guardians at D.C. Defenders
Spread: Guardians +5 (-110), Defenders -5 (-110)
I think this will be the game of the week. D.C impressed me quite a bit last week and I would not be shocked if they dominated New York in Week 2. I am going to go out on a limb here and say the Defenders win and they cover.
Prediction: Guardians 21 – Defenders 36
Tampa Bay Vipers at Seattle Dragons
Spread: Vipers -2.5 (-115), Dragons +2.5 (-105)
The Vipers have to rebound and I think that can happen against the Dragons. Aaron Murray will be traveling to Seattle and I think the passing game for the Vipers get that going early. Nick Truesdell has a huge game and the Vipers win by a touchdown.
Prediction: Vipers 28 – Dragons 21
Dallas Renegades at L.A. Wildcats
Spread: Renegades -4.5 (-110), Wildcats +4.5 (-110)
The Wildcats are going to be at home and after firing their defensive coordinator and their captain on defense you would think the team would turn it around, but that is not the case. The Wildcats get stomped, and the Renegades cover the spread.
Prediction: Renegades 42 – Wildcats 17
St. Louis BattleHawks at Houston Roughnecks
Spread: BattleHawks +7.5 (-105), Roughnecks -7.5 (-115)
The Battlehawks will travel to Houston to face PJ Walker and the top offense in the Houston Roughnecks. Walker does not disappoint. The Roughnecks are able to slow down Walker a bit but he is too talented and the Houston team in front of their fans get the win. They do not however cover the 7.5 point spread.
Prediction: BattleHawks 19 – Roughnecks 21
