Colorado State kicker Cayden Camper arrested for DUI
Cayden Camper, a 6’5, 205 pound walk-on kicker for Colorado State’s football team, was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving or driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs this weekend.
Camper, 19, was booked into the Larimer County Jail and released on bail, according to police records.
Camper was arrested as the result of “a traffic stop in the area of Harmony (Road) and College (Avenue) at 1:11 a.m.,” Fort Collins police spokesman Dustin Wier said. “Mr. Camper, as a result of that stop, was arrested and transported to the Larimer County Jail for booking.”
Serving as the Rams’ primary placekicker as a true freshman in 2019, Camper made all 18 point-after attempts and 7-of-13 field-goal tries. He made a career-long 50-yard attempt in a November game against UNLV.
This incident obviously will not help him when trying to earn a scholarship.
