Arkansas recruit arrested for sexual assault on a 12 year old girl
Catrell Wallace, 18, an Arkansas recruit, was arrested on a charge of sexual assault.
A defensive end, Wallace helped Bryant High School win the Arkansas Class 7A state championship during his senior season and signed with the Razorbacks in December.
Wallace, 18, turned himself in to police Monday.
According to the police, an alleged sexual encounter between Wallace and a 12-year-old occurred during the early morning hours of Jan. 1. They are saying it was consensual but police are still investigating.
