Tell us about your university/college. What was your major/minor? How is campus life?

I graduated from UT Martin which is a very small town. I majored in Business Interdisciplinary Studies. The campus life is small as well, everybody knows each other. There is nothing to do besides go to practice and study film on your next opponent.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

They would say being consistent, taking the top off the defense and showing up when my number is called.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

A captain that leads by example.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

CJ Henderson

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

They all impress me, but I would say Terry Fultz because it starts with the offensive line and without them I wouldn’t have much success in my career.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

When my mother passed away my 11th grade year. I thought about throwing in the towel and giving up not just on football but life. But I always reflected back on her lifestyle and seen how she went about things. When times got rough, she still made a way to make things look easy. From then on out I made a promise to become the male version of my mother and graduate from college.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

Basketball and track. I won state in the 110 m hurdles and qualified for state ever since the 9th grade. I also broke the track record at the University of Tennessee Martin 100m dash (11.02 sec).

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

One thing I’m most proud of is playing division 1 football. My biggest achievement was graduating from college and making my family proud.

Describe some of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career?

Catching a game touchdown against Eastern Illinois to take our team into overtime, and grabbing an acrobatic catch versus Ole Miss while making ESPN top plays.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. My role model is Randy Moss because we have similar gameplay and can come down with the ball at any given point.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?

My favorite music artist is Young Dolph. Listening to music, seeing my family, girlfriend and fans gets me pumped before every game. Playing away also gets me pumped because it’s like growing up Memphis again, the majority of the people are against you and you can shut them up by performing well with your alignments and assignments.

What is your favorite comfort food?

Honey gold wings and seasoned French fries.

Do you have a favorite movie or actor?

Favorite actors would be Denzel Washington, John Witherspoon and Adam Sandler. All three of the Friday’s are my favorite movies

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies?

Going fishing, aggravating my brother and sisters, and playing video games

Who or what motivates you the most?

God, family, girlfriend, and my unborn twins.
