What have you taken away the most from the Coach Speir, Coach Weaver and the rest of the Western Carolina coaching staff?

From Coach Speir and the staff, one thing taken away is you are who you are all the time, on the field and off. If you take shortcuts off the field eventually that’ll come on the field too someway. Coach Weaver taught me in and outs of how an offense operates on the field.

When football is over, what do you aspire to do in the professional world?

Being an entrepreneurship major I want to make an impact on the world with a business or product that everybody wants.

Who is on your Mt. Rushmore of the past or present NFL DBs?

Sean Taylor, Deion Sanders, Tyrann Mathieu, Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins

What separates you from other players at the DB position?

I have a feel for the ball when it needs to be stopped or brought down. Not afraid to play in the box due to the size I’ve gained this Fall. With that being said, I can be a roll down safety but not afraid to cover a receiver in the slot.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

Kelvin McKnight was a good route runner and freedom to get open however with option routes.

Is there a current or former NFL player you emulate your game after?

Think of myself as a Kam Chancellor who plays in the box with great tracking but mixed with Tyrann Mathieu. One who can cover in the slot as well the tight ends.

Let’s take a trip back to the first day of your freshman year at Science Hill High School. What advice would you give yourself then, knowing what you know now?

Enjoy the moment no matter what because there’s some else wishing they could have that same one.

Currently, who is the best player in the NFL?

  • Defensively: Stephon Gilmore.
  • Offensively: Lamar Jackson.

If I’m in Cullowhee on a Saturday night during the Fall, where is the one place I have to eat at?

Foragers Canteen.

You’re in front of all 32 NFL General Managers and have 15 words or less to give them your pitch on why JerMichael White will be an asset to their organization for years to come. What do you tell them?

Will play whatever role is needed to help make the team better with full enthusiasm.
