As an athlete, what is your motivation?

I have multiple things that motivate me as an athlete. It motivates me that I am making my family proud while being a student-athlete and the camaraderie I experience with my teammates through out the season.

What defines success for you?

Success to me is being able to do something you love to do every day while making your loved ones proud.

What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?

They would say that I’m a hard worker who stays humble and a person who is always there for them on and off the field.

What are some of your personal “rules” that you never break?

Always keep my family first and to always work as hard as I possibly can.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

#97 Reggie Howard from Toledo.

Who is the best player in the NFL?

Taylor Lewan.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

The Jacksonville Jaguars because that’s my hometown and I like playing with Leonard Fournette.

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

Talking to my mom has helped me out with this a lot, every time failure has occurred I always talk it out with her

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

Orlando Brown Sr.

Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?

I would tell myself to learn to really love the game and try to be the best team player I could be.

What is your go-to restaurant near campus?

Chipotle.

If your life was a book, what would its title be?

“The Road Full of Surprises.”

What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?

Kacey Musgraves.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

Edward Snowden, the reason why is because I’d like to know all the different things he knew while working for the NSA.

Forty-years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

I want to be remembered for how good of a person I am to others and how great of a dad and husband I am.

In 15 words or less, why should an NFL team invest in you?

I will be ready to work and get better every day.
