Success to me, is accomplishing goals I have set for myself and winning in every area of my life.

What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?

One of the biggest personal rules I have is to never drink alcohol. I haven’t had a sip of alcohol my whole life. Another one is to always set multiple alarms, so I don’t sleep through them!

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

My freshman year I tackled Lamar Jackson while playing Louisville. He was the fastest I’ve seen on a football field.

Tom Brady.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

Pittsburgh Steelers. They have always been my favorite team growing up and I enjoy wearing their alternate uniforms.

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

I realize that all things are going to work together for my benefit no matter what. The most successful people in this world have failed numerous times pursuing their passions. If you shut down when failure comes around, you will never succeed.

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

Luke Kuechly. He plays in Charlotte so I’ve had the opportunity to meet him a few times and I watch film on him to get new perspectives for my game.

Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?

I would tell myself to enjoy everything that’s coming your way. There is going to be a lot of hardship, but it will all be worth it.

What is your go-to restaurant near campus?

CAVA, it’s a Mediterranean spot similar to Chipotle.

If your life was a book, what would its title be?

“Never Give Up.”

What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?

I would have to say Khalid he has some pretty good music.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

Jesus Christ. I think it would be the best conversation I could ask for!

Forty-years from now, what do you want to be remembered for?

Loving people and looking after my family. No matter who I meet I want them to feel loved and accepted.

In 15 words or less, why should an NFL team invest in you?

I am passionate about football and set on being the best linebacker in the nation.
