NAIA WR Boobie Hammonds dies after collapsing on the field
Warner University in Lake Wales, lost a football player this week after he collapsed on the field according to multiple sources.
Theodore “Boobie” Hammonds was immediately attended to after collapsing on the field, but he passed away at Lake Wales Medical Center. They are still looking into the cause of death.
Hammonds was a 6030, 215 pound wide receiver who hauled in 25 receptions last year for 346 yards and three touchdowns. He was from Carol City, Florida near Miami. Please keep his family in your prayers.
