Jacksonville State tight end facing a statutory rape charge on a girl between the age of 12-16
According to a report from News Channel 9, a group of ten men were arrested and facing charges of second degree rape after authorities made several arrests on Jacksonville State University.
According to the report, all men are from 18 to 22 years in age, and one of the men is a football player at Jacksonville State University.
Reece Barton, a tight end at Jacksonville State was arrested and is accused of statutory rape of a girl between 12 and 16 years of age, between January 1st and September 1st. He will appear in court on October 7th.
Barton signed with the team on April 25th, 2019.
