The three best games in Week 1 are all division rivals

The 2019 NFL season will start with a bang in Week 1 with several pivotal divisional games on the slate, many fans will want to bet on their favorite teams – here they recommend the top-rated betting sites to get you started. The biggest is the Thursday night opener between Chicago and Green Bay, the two NFC North favorites, which sees the defending division-champion Bears favored by 3 at home.

If the Packers can pull off the upset, they will have taken a huge step toward winning their first division title since 2016. On Sunday, the NFC East will take center stage as Philadelphia hosts Washington as 8-point home favorites and Dallas welcomes the NY Giants, laying 8 as well.

I love divison rivals, and I feel in week 1 the three best games are the two from the NFC East and the Packers and Bears. The Bears were so exciting last year and Mitch Trubisky really took steps in the right direction. I feel they added some depth in the secondary with Ha Ha Clinton Dix teaming up with Eddie Jackson and adding Buster Skrine who I feel is one of the most underrated players in the league. Packers added former Bears defensive back Adrian Amos who will be looking to get back at his former team, but I feel the Bears are set up to win week 1.

When I look at the Eagles and Redskins, it is hard to go against the Eagles. On paper, they may have the best roster in the entire NFL. Carson Wentz is back and the mean Philly defense will be playing potentially against a rookie quarterback in Dwayne Haskins. It would be a huge upset if the Redskins could pull it off, but right now I am leaning towards Carson Wentz and the Eagles.

The final game we like in week 1 has to be America’s Team against Saquon Barkley and the New York Giants. I am not sure if Ezekiel Elliott will play this year, but if he does and they can somehow pay Dak Prescott the Cowboys could be a sleeper team in 2019. I have to take the Cowboys week 1 over the Giants, but the odds are pretty solid for the betting man.
