We are learning that Nick Truesdell, the huge target from the Salt Lake City Stallions will be headed to New York for his second visit with the New York Jets early next week. Truesdell worked out for the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in April and killed his workout for both teams.

The Jets seemed very interested, and with Chris Herndon suspended the first four games the team seems more interested in signing another pass catcher.

Nick has an amazing story. He was signed by the Colorado Ice as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played college football at the University of Cincinnati before transferring to Grand Rapids Community College.

The 29-year-old has not taken your original path to the NFL. He has played for several teams and leagues. Here is where he has played.

  • Colorado Ice (2014)
  • Bemidji Axemen (2014)
  • Spokane Shock (2014–2015)
  • Portland Steel (2016)
