Former NFL player and Alabama Asst. Strength coach arrested again for DUI

Former Colts draft pick and Alabama Strength Coach arrested on his second DUI charge.

Former Alabama Alum, NFL player and current assistant strength coach Josh Chapman was arrested Saturday morning for driving under the influence, according to the Montgomery Advertiser.

Chapman should be used to the procedure, as this is his second DUI charge in the last 2 ½ years after previously being arrested for the same offense on Jan. 29, 2017.

Chapman played on Alabama’s Nationa Championship team and was a huge part of them winning. He played nose tackle from 2007-2011 and eventually made it to the NFL. Chapman was drafted by the Colts in the 5th round. He was held in jail on Saturday morning according to the USA Today, on a 1,000 dollar bond.

Chapman, served as a valued assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Alabama football team since the 2016 season.
