As an athlete, what is your motivation?

Competition! I thrive on it. I push my limits every day so that when my opportunity arrives, I will be able to compete with the best in the world!

What defines success for you?

Failure + Perseverance = Success! When I think of success my mind always brings me to Thomas Edison. He didn’t fail 1000 times, but instead successfully found 1000 ways to not do something.

What would your teammates say about the type of player and man you are?

While I do my best not to speak in the place of others, I can tell you I take pride in my accountability as a teammate. Leading by example, I make the team goal my personal goal and give maximum effort in pursuit of team success.

Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?

I’d say E.J. Speed from Tarleton State, drafted 5th round in 2019. He always seemed to know where the ball was going. When he was drafted it was extremely motivating because he comes from the conference I play in.

Who is the best player in the NFL?

Having played D-Line most of my career my first instinct would be to say Aaron Donald but, with my newfound love for the Offensive Line, I’m going to say Zack Martin.

What is your team of choice on Madden, why?

I have a funny way of picking my teams on Madden. What I do is use the random team pick button 3 times remembering each team that was chosen. From those 3 teams, I pick the team with the best running offense to play with. I love running the ball!

Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?

“Never a failure, always a lesson” is something I live by. With a positive attitude, I find the lessons that were meant to be learned and implement them into my new course of action. By believing in myself and persevering through all my failures, I too will find success.

Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?

I believe I bring my own unique style to the game but someone that I could say I share similarities with would be Jason Kelce; the Center from the Eagles. We are about the same size and speed, we both are nightmares on screens, and we have the footwork needed to pull from the center position.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

If I could pick anyone in the world, I would pick my father. I’ve always thought it would be enlightening to meet him and talk for a bit.

In 15 words or less, why should an NFL team invest in you?

The desire to win a Superbowl has consumed me entirely, passion like that is undeniable.
