Former UNC Pembroke RB Damontay Rhem arrested for assaulting a female

Damontay Rhem is a very solid running back and this is a huge blow to his character. Hopefully he can get it settled, but if there is proof he did in fact assault a female his career could be over.

Damontay Rhem started his college career at UNC Pembroke after an amazing career at East Wake High School. He recently transferred to NC State wherein the final eight games of the 2018 season he had a solid showing.

Well on Friday, Rhem, 22, was arrested on campus at Wolf Village by N.C. State University police, according to arrest records.

The fast running back was charged with assault on a female, which authorities say took place Thursday, according to arrest records.
