Five NFL players who will have a breakout season in 2019

The NFL season is coming up very quickly and we wanted to pick five players we think are destined to have the year of their lives. These five players are ready to put their name on the map and dominate.

I expect Carson Wentz to have a huge year throwing for 40 plus touchdowns. His tight ends will get many but Desean Jackson will be a huge addition for him.

Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles – Everyone is doubting this kid and I feel he is going to be a 50 touchdown guy in 2019. I know I am a homer when it comes to small schoolers, but trust me on this, the team in Philly is amazing. They have really built a monster for the long haul. I expect DeSean Jackson to have a huge year with Wentz in control.

David Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals – Another small school player who is going to dominate in 2019. David Johnson will return to form and become the workhorse back that the Cardinals always wanted. Johnson can catch the ball out the backfield and he will be a huge help for Kyler Murray. The Cardinals are not the worst team in the NFL, I would not be surprised if they win 6 to 7 games.

DeVante Parker, WR, Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins did not utilize Parker correctly but he is a stud. I think this kid will put up huge numbers in 2019. The Dolphins May have FitzMagic as their starting quarterback but he knows how to get the ball to his stud wide outs. He helped Stevie Johnson shine and I think Parker is up next.

Melvin Gordon, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – Melvin Gordon had a huge 2018 season but I think he will break 20 touchdowns this season. That would double the amount he had last season. He will be the back who helps get the Chargers deep in the playoffs.

D.K. Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks – I do not like putting rookies on my list but I have a feeling this kid is in a perfect situation. No one has film on him and the kid is an athletic freak. I would not be shocked if he had a monstrous season with Russell Wilson tossing him the ball. Metcalf will have production and a lot of it.
