•  I worry about my mother the most, mainly because I’m here living freely and eating well, and I don’t even know if she’s eating anything. She’s always on my mind.

Give me an example of when you failed at something. How did you react and how did you overcome failure?

•  When I was in JuCo, I didn’t do well in school and had to do one full year without football so that I could get my grades up. It was a struggle for me because there was an enormous hurricane that hit Haiti that year and I wasn’t able to contact my mother and I just gave up. However, I had to force myself to keep pushing and when I found out she was okay I was able to push even harder. I overcame this by staying at home to study more often and getting a tutor.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

•  They’d definitely say that my best quality is my work ethic. No matter how hard I go down I always make myself stand up again.

• I’ve played against many, but I’d have to say players at Michigan State were pretty tough.

What would your career be if you couldn’t play football?

•  I’ve been getting into real estate this past year so I’d put all my time and effort into that if I couldn’t play. I will also own many homes and apartments in various states.

•  I clean my room first

If there was a disaster and you could either save three strangers or one family member, which would you choose and why?

•  3 strangers, because I’d be saving three lives instead of one.
