Salt Lake City’s attendance for week 4 of AAF crushed due to adverse weather
Salt Lake City faced Orlando Apollos tonight on the NFL Network and there were not many fans in attendance. It was 33 degrees at the start of the game and snow was coming down.
The crazy thing is at the same time the game started it was 70 degrees in Orlando with no rain. Last week, Salt Lake City had 10,412 in attendance, and while the weather was not that great last week either, tonight was rough. Not many are going to come out to a game when it is freezing outside, and you cannot blame them. The Paid Attendance was 9,302 according to our sources.
The Apollos stay undefeated as they beat the Stallions. Charles Johnson and Akeem Hunt both had solid games for the Apollos. They were able to slow the Stallions down in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Charles Johnson went over 100 yards receiving tonight and was open all 4th quarter.
