• Defensive Back.

• Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, and Boxing.

Who is the toughest player you have competed against in College?

• DeDe Westbrook – Receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Are you listening to music before a game? If so, what?

• Yes. Knuck if you buck by Crime Mobb & Digits by Young Thug.

Do you have any superstitions before a game? If so, what are they?

• No, I’m always ready. Before I get on the field, I’m ready. Before I get on the bus, I’m ready. I’m ready even on the Thursday before a game.

Who is your role model & why?

• Tyrann Mathieu, due to his height and weight, and taking into consideration the hardships and struggles he faced growing up, I feel I can relate to him perfectly. He has given me inspiration, that someone like me, can make it as big as he did.

While in College, what has been your favorite & least favorite class?

• Least favorite: Statistics.
• Favorite: Creative Writing.

What made you choose Grand View University?

• I decided to go to Grand View because they are a winning program. I saw a lot of success the program had, as well as being conference champs.

Outside of Football, what has been your favorite experience while in College?

Going to different states, and experiencing new culture norms and weather. Being from Texas, and going to schools in the Mid West, I have seen a lot of things that are very different from what I grew up around.

Growing up, who was your favorite NFL Team & NFL player, & why?

• Favorite NFL Team: San Diego Chargers
• Favorite NFL Player: LaDainian Tomlinson
• The San Diego Chargers were my favorite team, and I loved to watch LaDainian Tomlinson because he put up incredible numbers at TCU and broke the record in the NFL for rushing touchdowns. His work ethic on and off the field was impressive and motivating.

If you could be in any movie of your choice, what would it be & what character would you play?

• Spiderman, and I would play Peter Parker.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who are they?

1. Kanye West.
2. Lil Wayne.
3. Martin Luther King – I feel like we would have a good ass conversation.

If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?

• Rosa Parks, just to ask her how her day was.

Who is your favorite superhero & why?

• The Incredible Hulk, because he is immortal.

What is your definition of hard work?

• To keep working even when your mind is telling you to give up.

What is the most unexpected lesson you learned while in College?

• To balance out being a father along with being a student athlete.

What is something you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High School Freshman?

• Focus more on school, it matters more than you think it does.

Why do you wear #7?

• My role model, Tyrann, wore #7 in college.

What is the best part of your hometown, Brenham, TX?

• Blue Bell Icecream.

• Jordan, because he was the first to do it.

• Xbox One: GTA 5, Madden, NBA 2K.

What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete?

• Being ranked #1 for 7 straight weeks at IWCC.

If you could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

1. 1 million dollars.

• Singing

• I would choose to spend a full hour riding my horse each day.
