Tell us about your hometown, and what you love most about it?
  • I come a small city of 52,000 right outside of South Bend, Indiana. Elkhart has great tradition in its high schools and is a great community to raise a family. What I love most is that I know all this best food places.

List these three in order of importance and why: Film Study, Strength and Conditioning and Practice?

  • Practice, Film Study, Strength & Conditioning
What do you worry about, and why?
  • I worry that I’ll be overlooked based on my stature.
Give me an example of when you failed at something. How did you react and how did you overcome failure?
  • I walked on at Ohio University where I planned to get on scholarship after a year and when I failed to receive a scholarship. I had to find a new option bc I didn’t want to pay for school, so I called Illinois State. They gave me a preferred walk on spot and within the first three weeks I proved to be one of the top WRs on the team and made an immediate impact.
What do your teammates say is your best quality?
  • As a football player they say, I run great routes and know how to get open vs coverage or man.
Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
  • Dallas Goedert
What would your career be if you couldn’t play football?
  • Coach or Sports Trainer
Room, desk and car – which do you clean first?
  • Room
If there was a disaster and you could either save three strangers or one family member, which would you choose and why?
  • Family member. I will always be loyal to my family over everything. We have been through a lot of hard times together.
If you could be any television or movie character, who would you be and why?
  • Michael Jordan in Space Jam, so I could see how it feels to be the goat for a day and I could meet Bugs Bunny
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
  • The passing of my Father, I don’t think it’s something you ever overcome. More of something you must come to terms with and accept, which allows you to grow in character. Has taught me many lessons and has made me think for myself and it’s given me the “If you want it, go get it attitude.”
What is your most embarrassing moment?
  • In HS we were losing 46-0 my sophomore year and I whiffed an onside kick in front of everyone.
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
  • Either my 78 yard touchdown to start the day vs #3 USD in 2017 season or 97 yards TD catch vs Eastern Illinois this season.

What is the most important trait you can have (Physical or Non Physical) to help you succeed at the next level?
  • Football IQ

If you could bring one person back from the dead for one day, who would it be and why?
  • My Father, I need one more conversation with him. Have lots of questions unanswered…
If you were to open a dance club, what would you name it?
Who is the most overrated player in the NFL?
  • Ezekiel Elliott
Would you rather be liked or respected, and why?
  • Respected
What player who had his career derailed by off-field issues do you feel for the most and why?
  • Colin Kaepernick, he is an excellent athlete and a good QB. He used his stage to do something great for the African American community and has had the pressures of people such as the president wanting him out of the league. It’s a terrible situation and wish the best for him and his movement.
