Gauntlet Report
ST player looking to earn more playing time.
Very precise quick feet with good range for a smaller DB he plays hard mostly on ST or an extra DB Huffman looks to take his game to the next level in his Senior year 2018.
Aggressive strong tackler can move very well uses his explosiveness & relentless motor to make tackles & plays when given the opportunity. Looks really good natural backpeddler nice change of direction.
A prime candidate for work at the Nickel position this season he shows the traits needed to succeed in that role. With some more playing time under his belt he can carve out a niche for himself at slot & especially Special teams.
Given the chance from the drills and tape i saw he has the skill set along with drive to be a starter his Senior year. Aggressive style of play with nice instincts & vision too cover wide outs or run up make a hit on a RB. Huffman shows the fluidity needed to be an explosive DB ST contributor be watching his progression this coming season.
