  • Aaron Ellis.

Where do you play College Football?

  • UThe niversity of St. Francis.

What position do you play?

  • Quarterback

What is your height/weight?

  • 6’3″ 210lbs.

Did you play any other sports growing up? If so, what were they?

  • I threw shot and did long jump for track

Who is the toughest player you have competed against in College?

  • The toughest player I’ve competed against was Antonio Lemon, safety at my school, athletic and smart kid, breaks well on the ball.

Are you listening to music before a game? If so, what?

  • I listen to the same 10 songs before every game, mainly Kevin gates, Eminem, and Post Malone.

Do you have any superstitions before a game? If so, what are they?

  • I’ll always walk a lap around the field and reflect to get my mind right.

Who is your role model & why?

  • My role model is Tim Tebow because no matter how many times he gets knocked down he never gives up.

While in College, what has been your favorite & least favorite class?

  • My favorite class was Colonial America, my least favorite is Theology.

Outside of Football, what has been your favorite experience while in College?

  • Meeting new people and building strong relationships with teachers, employees, and classmates.

Growing up, who was your favorite NFL Team & NFL player, & why?

  • My favorite team is the Chicago bears probably because I grew up around Chicago. My favorite player to this day is Drew Brees, he does things as a QB that just aren’t human.

If you could be in any movie of your choice, what would it be & what character would you play?

  • Star Wars hands down, and I’d want to play Han Solo.

If you could have dinner with three (3) people, dead or alive, who are they?

  • Will smith, Matthew McConaughey, and Drew Brees.

If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?

  • I’d like to meet FDR because he’s one of my favorite presidents.

Who is your favorite superhero & why?

  • I’d have to say Thor because he’s a God.

What is your definition of hard work?

  • Never settling for what you produced yesterday, each day is a new opportunity to improve.

What is the most unexpected lesson you learned while in College?

  • I’ve learned that you’re always going to have people that want to see you fail, don’t let peoples opinion of you change who you are.

What is something you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High School Freshman?

  • Work on your speed a little more.

Why do you wear #16?

  • Joe Montana, I got my style of play from watching him as a kid.

What is the best part of your hometown, Valparaiso, IN?

  • Moms cooking hands down.

Are you binge watching anything on Netflix or Hulu right now?

  • Rick and Morty on Hulu.

If you had one free hour each day, how would you choose to use it?

  • Going paintballing.

You are a Social Science, what made you choose that subject?

  • History is my favorite thing to study, I’ve learned a lot of lessons from researching the past and I want to pass that knowledge on.

If you could throw a TD from one NFL WR/TE, past or present, who would it be & why?

  • I’d have to go with Greg Olsen because I was always a fan of him when he joined the Bears.

If you could give NFL scouts three words to describe the type of man they are getting in Aaron Ellis, what would they be?

  • Relentless, passionate, focused.
