My Mother, raising me for a period of my life as a single mother while managing to put me into school and still get food on the table. She’s a strong women and always puts family first.

Mr Phillips, study hall teacher/ coach

Basketball

Zaire Franklin
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
Max Hartzman, he has yet to get Patriot League honors.
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
Dreams and Nightmares
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Doug Martin just because of the heights and running style, but I am also a good pass catcher something Doug Martin isn’t quite known for.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Breaking my ankle in 7th grade, that was the first time I ever had a serious injury happen. I overcame it by a lot of rehab/ hard work and prayer. That obstacle has allowed me to bounce back from the injuries that come my way.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
A ritual I have before games is always listening to a few gospel songs to settle me down and relax me before I get to my hype music.
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
My most memorable play was my 63 yard TD run against JMU in 2015 to help my team pull the upset against #3 JMU.
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
After a game having a little kid ask for my gloves and towel and giving it to him and seeing his excitement.

Baltimore Ravens
