Panthers QB Cam Newton has been getting stalked by someone
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been all over the news this week because a comment he made about a female reporter. He lost a sponsor today when Dannon Yogurt dropped him, but he is in the media again. This time for something scary.
Cam Newton was listed as a victim in an apparent stalking incident, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Someone went to Bank of America Stadium at 11 a.m. Wednesday, where the Panthers were practicing, and asked to speak to Newton, the police report said.
The person had visited the stadium in the past for Newton and was asked not to return, the police report said. The suspect was asked again on Wednesday to not return or contact Newton.
With how the world is going, that is scary. I hope the police do something to protect the players.
