Raiders CB Gareon Conley is finally cleared of all allegations
When this entire Gareon Conley situtation began, NFL Draft Diamonds owner Damond Talbot began his own investigation. Just a few days before the NFL Draft, he began trying to find out the truth to the allegations because he was not comfortable with the police reports. The reports were all over the place and many things did not make sense.
He talked to everyone that was in the room that night and it posted his thoughts. On April 25th, he posted the article here on NFL Draft Diamonds, and it was highly criticized. At one point, NFL teams began calling him and questioning him. Not knowing he was a Federal Law Enforcement officers for the past 15 years. After long discussions with 20 of the 32 NFL teams security departments, teams began to ask more and more questions. One team that put in the most work was the team that drafted Conley. The Oakland Raiders staff called Damond numerous times the night of the draft, and the days leading up. The security department agreed with our owner that he would walk away from everything untouched. After Conley’s legal team put together the lie detector test the night of the draft, the Raiders were confident that if Conley fell to them they would take their guy.
Today the Grand Jury declined charges against Conley. While NFL Draft Diamonds is not the biggest site in the world, or the most well known, we are proud of our owner. Damond put in the work, and we are proud to have him on our team!! #TeamDiamond
