Baltimore Ravens donated 1.5 million dollars to keep a high school open
I am so sick of hearing bad things in the media about the NFL, that this made my day. According to the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens put 1.5 million dollars back into the community.
The Ravens donated $1.5 million to keep Renaissance Academy High School in Baltimore open. The Ravens also helped renovate the previously rundown school. Owner Steve Bisciotti fixed things up after hearing stories from the students.
“We saw it as an opportunity to get involved and where the Ravens could make a difference,” Ravens president Dick Cass told The Baltimore Sun.
